I trudge through the desert. The heat makes me dizzy and my eyes blur, faintly flickered a figure before me: I think I see you now— tell me, are you a mirage? Or did we, in fact, once exist? And, when I approach, will you fade away again? I hope you don’t. But I know you need to. And I hope I want you to, too.
