「高雄拍」影像创作奖助计画于2012年创立，以将高雄打造为台湾短片基地为目标，鼓励创作者打破界限与陈腔滥调，尽情挥洒创意、展现在地特色。迄今奖助的短片作品累计已超过百部，是台湾备受关注的短片计画。本次选映2017至2018年完成的12部「高雄拍」短片，涵括剧情和实验片型，多元纷呈的创作主题，各具特色的表现语汇，汇集出近年台湾短片创作的丰沛能量。
