The plot describes that Marina works in a restaurant during the day and as a resident singer in a bar at night. She has a boyfriend, Orlando. Although the two have a big age gap, they truly love each other. On the night the two celebrated their anniversary, Orlando died suddenly. The sudden bad news plunged Marina into grief, and because of her transgender status, she was questioned and despised by Orlando's family and ex-wife. She was kicked out of the apartment they shared with Orlando, and she was even banned from attending Orlando's funeral. The detectives investigating the case discriminated against her. Malina struggled for many years to gain physical freedom, but she could not change the strange looks cast by outsiders.
