On this day, the fence of A-Chan's chicken coop was blown down by the wind, and the chickens scattered. However, 60-year-old A-Chan and her 80-year-old mother had more urgent matters to attend to. They carried the body of their beloved cat, Xiao Guai, and with the help of Burmese volunteers from their church, rushed from rural Kaohsiung to the city's animal protection office, preparing to cremate Xiao Guai. Upon arrival, they discovered that only group cremation was available, and they couldn't retrieve the ashes. The three were anxious, hoping to find the best end-of-life arrangement for their cat, Xiao Guai.
