After the father's passing, the home accumulated clutter and furniture grew old. The director observes the mother's daily life, attempting to rebuild emotional connections after the family's loss.

玉蓉重返越南探望母親阮氏江，短暫團聚後再度分離，母親為簽證來台辦理，玉蓉則試圖重現母親的料理。

Through examining these objects, I try to rediscover "myself"; meanwhile, my mother's voice from upstairs constantly calls out, reminding me of my identity as a "daughter". Amidst this tension, I attempt to rewrite myself, allowing the narrative to shift from "daughter" to "me".
