1:54:51 「我很排斥，聽到報紙上面，或是網路上面講說『二二八受難家屬』這幾個字眼。從小到大，就算是很要好的朋友，幾乎很少人知道我是家屬。因為會讓我聯想到痛苦悲情。我自己其實本身是很排斥就是痛苦或悲情太久，陷在那個情緒當中。｣ 「我是第三代，我想要做得是，接受、放下，然後轉身，往前走去過我想要的生活。」 = 聽到這段話的時候覺得內心揪了一下，我覺得自己在面對這個議題的時候，就跟面對性暴力議題一樣，是很自私的。 我們這些局外人總是不希望當事人就這樣算了，我們希望他能打起精神，繼續對抗這些不義，繼續以親身經驗去反抗。因為我們相信，受害者的呼喊比起我們這些局外人，是更有力量也更有正當性的。 我們祈求公平正義得以透過受害者的現身而得到伸張。但卻不願意正視，很多受害者其實最想要的往往不是公平正義，而是一個從此風平浪靜的人生。而陷在受害者的身分裡去追求公平正義，只會徒增風浪。

The crime scenes where bloodstains have long been washed away, the streets where fervent slogans have faded, and the lives forever frozen in a single moment of history—all compel creators to pick up the pen, to lift the camera, and to tell their stories in countless ways. Since its establishment in 1962, the Golden Horse Awards have not only represented the highest honor in Chinese-language cinema but also witnessed countless filmmakers grow from their first attempts to the shaping of distinctive artistic voices. This curated selection highlights six directors nominated this year — Shen Ke-shang and Pan Ke-yin for Best New Director, as well as Lee Chun-shek, Liao Ke-fa, Chong Keat-aun, and Tsao Shih-han for Best Director — revisiting their earlier, defining works. Through this collection, we invite audiences to rediscover how these filmmakers use cinema to respond to the self, society, and their times. I explore the myriad forms of the real world, and I also question the boundaries and costs of freedom. Behind freedom, there is always much solitude, and the real world is rarely ordinary. Through the lens, I document unreachable frontiers—those pains, joys, and sorrows—which, because they are real, burn more fiercely into the heart, leaving one breathless.
