設置在台北電影節之下的台北電影獎，一直是提攜、鼓勵台灣電影創作者的重要獎項。除了每屆都會評選出的最佳紀錄片之外，在最大獎「百萬首獎」的競爭中，紀錄片也經常掄元，曾經在2010-2014年間連續五年拿下大獎，顯現紀錄片在台灣電影創作中的豐沛活力。今年雖然因賽制改變，入圍名單⋯⋯
