紐約大都會美術館（Metropolitan Museum of Art）每年五月第一個星期一，都會舉辦慈善晚宴（Met Gala），為美術館的時裝館（Costume Institute）募資，也是美術館年度大型時裝展覽的開幕晚會。《時尚惡魔的盛宴》（The First Monday in May）（2016）紀錄的是2015年晚宴與展覽的籌備過程，當年的展覽主題是《中國：鏡花水⋯⋯

There is no such thing as a woman who is born confident and radiant — we all stumble, search, and grow into the body image and way of life that feel most like home, learning slowly how not to dislike ourselves so much. Documentary films quietly and honestly reflect women in their most unadorned states — ordinary, oppressed, loathed, awkward, or uninhibited — and all of these are part of who they are.
