迷幻藥、嬉皮士與西方文化 - BBC 英伦网《艾美懷茲》中呈現父親長期缺席，並在艾美走紅後利用女兒吸金的行為，以及受到毒蟲前夫迷惑吸毒等經歷，令人聯想到近期的「小甜甜布蘭妮：我想拿回我的人生」事件。 在《陷害布蘭妮》紀錄片中，記錄了小甜甜布蘭妮與天王賈斯汀分手後，男方利用歌曲對小甜甜進行「蕩婦羞辱」，媒體集體圍繞在厭女話題上最終讓小甜甜精神崩潰，黯然退出歌壇，一代流星天后隕落。 直到近期才有「向布蘭妮道歉」運動還給布蘭妮性自主的話語權，同時小甜甜布蘭妮自白自己受到父親長期的監控，下藥控制其完成工作並強裝避孕器。兩部紀錄片可以一起欣賞，除對照女性情感弱勢的處境外，同時也能進行媒體娛樂報導文化的反思。

Marilyn Monroe singing Happy Birthday Mr President. High quality再看一次艾美懷絲紀錄片對我來說其實心態上較為平靜點，當然她的特殊菸嗓與音樂性無人能媲美，老實說她就是音樂搖滾史上其中一位嗑藥喝到掛的藝人之一，她的生命由自己來決定方向，任何人也無法干涉，那個寂寞那個缺愛的搞怪的艾美懷絲音樂依舊活在世上。
