Before growing into towering trees, these tender sprouts begin to emerge everywhere. On city cliffs, by a girl’s window, and within the unnoticed cracks at street corners, they quietly take root and grow. Through diverse mediums and audiovisual languages, emerging animators from Taiwan and Hong Kong create stories that are subtle yet powerful — sometimes sharp, sometimes understated.
