Located at the easternmost tip of Taiwan, Magang is a small fishing village that lives in harmony with the sea. Here, century-old stone houses face the ocean, cradling the life memories of their residents. Among them are Wen-ping; Wang-shih, a traditional "sea woman"; and Bo-xuan and Xiao-xian, who moved here for their love of the ocean—each carving out a life and taking root in their own way. In 2018, a land repossession notice quietly shattered this tranquility, forcing the community to rethink the true meaning of their home. This film documents how, amid conflicts of values and ongoing change, they strive to protect their homeland, their memories, and one another.
