Pay money To my Pain (PTP), a Japanese band hailed as a "giant riot creator" by countless music fans, came to Taiwan in 2012 to participate in Megaport Music Festival, creating the largest mosh pit in the history of Taiwan's music festivals. Since its formation in 2004 and official debut in 2006, PTP has been leading the wave of Japan's LOUD ROCK music scene. The members of PTP hope that this documentary will allow all music fans to see the most authentic PTP, and also let fans understand how PTP, led by K, seriously regards their music and the times and lives they face, and then continue the influence of the songs created by K.
Being in a band is more complicated than dating, yet somehow more romantic and longer-lasting than marriage. It’s high-risk, low-reward—and still, people keep throwing themselves into this graveyard of friendship. Come see how lonely guitar heroes go from asking, “Wanna start a band?” to declaring, “I’ve never once thought being in a band was fun.” And perhaps, after all the creative differences, solo careers without breaking up, quitting and getting back together, what remains in the end is always that one live show attended by little more than friends and family, and that one irreplaceable song that stays forever in the hearts of those who once played in a band.
