2019年底開始傳出疫情時，中文都還叫做「武漢不明肺炎」。後來開始以「武漢肺炎」一詞流行，又在中國的主導下改成以「新型冠狀病毒」稱呼。儘管現今已經很少人再用「武漢肺炎」，但我卻聽過武漢人這樣說：不用武漢肺炎，是不是世人就要忘記武漢曾經發生過的苦難？
這部紀錄片主要是在講述covid-19從發現，但傳播過程中，中國政府採取的措施，和武漢當地的真實情況，在看紀錄片前，我們可能知道病毒是從武漢開始傳播，卻不知道細節，但在影片中，真實記錄了中國因為政治政策，而封鎖消息，或是在疫情更嚴重時，採取的像是封城、把病強制帶走的手段，很令人震驚。
新冠肺炎爆發至今已經帶走成千上萬人的生命，改變了人們的生活型態，也讓我們看見在全球化的便利之下，疫情以難以想像的 速度覆蓋全世界，《擴散前夕：武漢封城實錄》記錄了疫情的第一現場，也展露了中國人民在中共威權統治下的困境，是非常珍貴和難得的影片。
新冠疫情爆發，改變了我們習以為常的生活習慣。還記得一開始我們稱「新冠肺炎」為「武漢肺炎」，作為疫情首當其衝的地區，在面對中共威權的封鎖，人民遇到的困境與恐懼都可以從紀錄片裡被看見。這場疫情帶走了太多東西，帶走了一些人的自由，帶走了一些人的經濟來源，也帶走了好多好多的生命，帶來了很多悲傷，願疫情緩和，世界安好。
全球至今仍然被武漢肺炎摧殘，回顧這部紀錄片時，可以感受到當時對於病毒的未知、無能 為力，而導致各種非人道的措施發生與絕望驚慌情緒四溢。令我憤怒的部分是隱匿疫情，中共政權威嚴極高，為了隱瞞汙點而使全球陷入無止盡抗疫戰爭，影片中武漢人痛苦無助的畫面被一一記錄下來，上周看《時代革命》也看見香港人痛苦的模樣，我認為一切惡行終將回歸到中共身上，需要承擔報應！希望全世界盡快回歸正常生活，抱持正面良善，天佑世界！
