紀錄片的開頭就讓我想起兩年前在學測考試中掙扎的自己，長期的痛苦和崩潰中會不斷去思考「成績」、「大學」與「學歷」等等對我來說的意義是什麼，回想起那段時間的思考，現在的我也重新去想說，那升上大學的我，是否有新的感悟和反思。
我好奇如果我在高三拍了一部這樣的紀錄片，會是什麼樣貌? 如果我的高一學生看了這部記錄片，她會想在高三拿起攝影機記錄些甚麼呢? 這或許就是紀錄片的魅力吧?!
《蜻蜓飛過的歲月》第一顆鏡頭，一群女高中生跑過走廊要去窗邊看月蝕，我想起NewJeans的〈ditto〉。導演洪多藝在高三面對大考的同時拿起攝影機記錄青春縮影，當大人們告訴他們撐過去就能破繭成蝶時，少女們卻覺得其實沒那麼簡單，他們面對的是在升學體制下失去自我價值的憂鬱和困惑、憤怒，是人際關係變化的無助與悲傷、是渴望知道該如何在「謀生的同時也能很幸福」。渡過青春期的少女最後沒有變成蝴蝶，反而成了一隻隻溺水的蜻蜓。 或許死亡的邊緣裡反覆拍翅掙扎的蜻蜓彼此是無法相互救贖的，但正像導演最後留下的，始終無法交到亡友手上的那封信所寫，我們能為彼此做的，只是希望「你要跟我一起活下去」。或許又回到那句，呢喃的、低語的，堅定的I got nothing to lose。
