「紹興社區」位於台北市中正區，佔地約1.4公頃，街廓緊鄰中正紀念堂。不用說，這裡地價很貴。社區居民所使用的土地，僅佔五分之一左右，其他主要是七棟台大所經管的日式房舍，曾經用作台大教師宿舍用，但因為缺乏維⋯⋯
《活在三里塚》乍看是一個時代的血淚故事，是 1970 年代成田機場抗爭事件的紀錄與回溯，然則，更深沉的內裡，當我們反覆看到那不斷浮現的畫面：農民在鬆軟的土地上播種、耕耘，在綠油油的菜園子揮汗收成⋯⋯背景⋯⋯
