50:15 在接受媒體訪問時，伊美黛一如往常地坐在沙發上，開始娓娓道來她的故事：「我才八歲就成了孤兒，沒有錢，沒有母親，等於一無所有⋯⋯」觀眾或許聽來熟悉，這些情節早在紀錄片的開頭就被伊美黛親口告訴我們過了。 導演在這裡保留了重複的論述畫面，我不禁思考伊美黛是否就像一位訓練有素的演員一般，被訓練好了哪些是該被訴說的、哪些不該，因此一套完美的對白就此誕生，完美地沒有缺陷，而重複聽著這些話的人民也因此被說服，臣服於此。
大權在后：前第一夫人伊美黛 菲律賓前總統馬可仕的妻子伊美黛，開始看似充滿愛心和善心，只可惜這是主觀看法，影片轉用旁觀看法就知道不單純，光是非洲動物那段就看出些暗喻了‧ 丈夫的腐敗政權垮台，導致伊美黛流亡海外，但流亡結束回國的她，想繼續過去的家天下再起，有如法國大革命的瑪莉皇后，只差沒有被推翻和審判，繼續毒害國家，自我陶醉的美好和動力對比人民的苦難，真是大大的諷刺，還帶給我們看出政治的控制和絕望，只是菲律賓的這事件對我們而言卻非常不陌生...............
對這部片最深刻的一句話是「我之所以到貧民窟時要穿得光鮮亮麗，因為窮人總是在暗夜中尋找星星...」 一個國家的人民可以對盜賊統治從厭惡，再到寬容苟且，除了菲律賓，也讓人想到馬來西亞的首相納吉的夫人羅斯瑪...值得一提的是，涉貪的納吉在2022年遭判12年徒刑定讞，他入獄逾1週後，羅斯瑪也遭判尋求並收受賄賂罪成。 然而，人民總是健忘的，菲律賓人民都可以對殺人眾多的馬可仕家族，那對入獄前轉型成政治網紅，被稱為bossku（馬來語意思是「我的老闆」）的納吉，馬來西亞人是否會寬恕他，個人對此是感到「樂觀」的。

伊美黛依然是伊美黛，她面對鏡頭毫不閃躲，即便拍攝過程中她的相框玻璃碎了一地，她仍神色不改地繼續講著自己的故事，任由僕役撿拾；她渴望鏡頭，渴望透過媒體來重寫她的歷史，因為在她童話般的敘事裡，馬可仕家族是受到背叛與迫害，戒嚴時期是馬可仕帶給菲律賓最棒的時代，而人民懷念著馬可仕統治的時期，她渴望著重新掌權。

To document an extraordinary soul through the lens is to constantly wrestle with the dilemma of completeness. How can one capture the vastness of a life within the limited time of a film? The rights protected by the two covenants are vast and far-reaching—so much so that even if we narrated them like a modern-day One Thousand and One Nights, we might still never finish. And yet, there’s so much we want to say, and only so much we can say. From refugees and the principle of non-refoulement, to inclusive education for persons with disabilities; from climate change and the right to adequate food, to Losheng Sanatorium and the fight against forced eviction; from state violence to transitional justice—these layered issues form a dense, interwoven fabric.
