續上。再補充清野通這號人物，這位漫畫家對台灣漫畫迷來說相當陌生，他的畫風與題材也不是大眾口味那種，可是意外受到喜愛......印象中某調查給了清野通類似「打敗海賊王的男人」的稱號，好像是在某段時間海賊王發行量橫掃全日本時，東京都內無法唯有赤羽無法拿下榜首，原因就是清野通的《東京北區赤羽》 清野通還有個很知名的地方，除了山田孝之喜歡他，日本「情色女王」壇蜜更和他閃婚，以及杉野遙亮也以他為靈感拍了仿紀錄片《東京怪奇酒》....這名真實面貌從未被揭露的神秘漫畫家，竟然和演藝圈有奇妙的連結，真是不可思議！
影響山田孝之走出低潮的，還有漫畫家清野通（清野とおる）以及赤羽的生活夥伴。 當時他看了清野通的漫畫《東京都北區赤羽》被書中真實生活裡人物的「純天然」所感動，所以主動拜訪清野通（那時候清野通簽了兩匹迷你馬來赴約...） 之後，山田孝之開啟了一段以台灣時下流行語形容「非常地方創生」的探索，這後來被拍成仿紀錄片在東京電視台播映，劇名叫《山田孝之 東京都北區赤羽》而山田孝之也為此寫了一首歌《TOKYO NORTH SIDE》 這邊可以聽 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9cgC6NxucHo
山田孝之 TOKYO NORTH SIDE1:52:22 感嘆沒辦法陪小孩時，山田孝之默默也有打算，2020年4月全家移居到沖繩過自給自足的生活。 他說：「只專注於生存必要活動的簡單生活真的很好。」（受訪於『婦人公論』2020年4月14日號）真的是很行動派的人！
