From Pitch to Screen | A CCDF Documentary Selection
A mountain-village family bound by pneumoconiosis, a promise left unkept in the snowy mountains, a city whose memories are reenacted again and again — before they became films, these were stories their makers could not let go of. The Chinese Doc Forum (CCDF) has accompanied filmmakers as they carried these unfinished stories onto the pitching stage, and then back into the field to keep filming and waiting. This collection brings together completed works that were once pitched at CCDF. We invite you to sit down and walk the final stretch of the journey with these stories.
